NBC’s videotaped introductions for Sunday Night Football are usually nothing special. Players come on and say they're names and where they went to school and that's it. But Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy DEFINITELY raised the bar on Sunday night.
Decked out in sunglasses, Hardy announced that he was "Kraken," as in the fictional deadly sea monster and went to Hogwarts, the same school as Harry Potter.
And it even has a classic rock twist...
First, a Wyoming newspaper said that Mandela died five years before he was born and now a Detroit station had a segment where they were “Remembering Nelson Mandela” by using a picture of Alex Rodriguez.
Just hours after firing head coach Gary Kubiak, The Texans have also let go of special teams coach Joe Marciano. In the interim, he will be replaced by special teams assistant Bob Ligashesky.
