At 2 a.m. local time Sunday, daylight saving time arrives to give us an extra hour of evening sunlight.

Yes, we'll lose an hour of sleep, but we do gain sunlight. So don't forget to turn all of your clocks (CAR clock too) ahead — spring forward — before heading to bed tonight (Saturday) so you don't wake late tomorrow...or worse Monday for work!

This is also a good time to put new batteries in your smoke detectors.
