Here are a few of my fav sites.
For Pet Owners a Must Read:
www.entirelypets.com/toxicfoods.html - this site will tell you all things toxic for your pets. Some will surprise you, like did you know a grape or raisin can kill your dog?
www.truthorfiction.com/ - You know all those e-mails that spread like wildfire but seem a bit too unbelievable?! ie; 'a special new spider that waits to attack you from underneath toilet seats'... or 'watch out for needles on gas pump handles'! Well this site will clue you in as to whether they are Truth or Fiction. I always go there now before forwarding any email to friends that way none of us look foolish :)
www.gardenersnet.com/ - Another must-log-onto site for gardeners. Any query you may have can most likely be answered here.
imdb.com/ - Okay how many times have you been chatting w/someone and either you or they are trying to remember; the name of an actor, what movie they were in, who directed a picture, or even who did the soundtrack. This site will instantaneously answer all those questions and more. Also a great cheat site to prepare for an upcoming game of Scene It!!
www.letssaythanks.com/ Really great way, and super fast too, to say thank you to our troops. Just log on, pick a card to send and a message to include and Xerox will send the card to a soldier absolutely FREE!!! After all it wouldn't be home of the free without the brave; let's thank the troops for thier incredible bravery and show how much we appreciate them and thier sacrifices.
I am very luck to get to PLAY at work ... and so are these guys! Sure looks like fun working at Callaway Golf .. although tough competition too!!
Well it was a sad scene.

Dropkick Murphys have teamed up with the Boss to help raise money for the victims of last month's Boston Marathon bombings. Earlier this week the Bean Town-based Celtic rockers released "Rose Tattoo," a special charity EP that includes a new version of the title track featuring Bruce Springsteen.
The three-track collection also comes with a pair of live acoustic songs recorded during the Dropkick Murphys show in Las Vegas just four days after the bombings.
"Rose Tattoo" is available now exclusively through iTunes, and the band says 100 % of the money raised will go to people affected by the tragedy via their Claddagh Fund.
Dropkick Murphys previously raised money for Boston bombing victims with a "For Boston" t-shirt. The shirt is currently out of stock on their website, but the band says the garment has already brought in more than $65,000.

Sometimes I wish I never read stories like these .. because they have ruined many a careless fun time for me. But since I did read it, may as well preemptively ruin your summer too! Ha.
The CDC just released a new report on public POOLS, and found that in 58% of the pool water they tested . . . there was FECAL CONTAMINATION. Wtf?? What are all the chemicals good for then?
All of the pools with fecal matter tested positive for E. coli. The CDC says, quote, "Swimmers frequently contaminate pool water when they have a fecal incident in the water or when feces rinse off their bodies because they do not shower thoroughly."
2% of the pools had types of fecal bacteria that can cause diarrhea and get you sick. 59% of pools had the bacteria that can cause rashes or ear infections.
The good news is that you can probably avoid infections unless you swallow a lot of pool water or eat without washing your hands after you swim.
One more note on the cesspool of bacteria surrounding you in life. We've heard things like this before, but a new study found that woman's PURSES have more bacteria in it and on it than your toilet. I wipe mine down with Clorox wipes regularly and then use leather conditioner to keep it in good condition. Just a thought you may want to try too.
