93.7 The Arrow is pleased to be the home of The Showgram with JC Corcoran, 5:30-10 a.m. weekdays.  The show is entertaining, funny, compelling and Houston-centered,  with topics ranging from music, entertainment, comedy, news and sports, all while playing the Most Classic Rock… Guaranteed.

Prior to joining The Arrow, JC spent nearly 30 years in St. Louis as a successful classic rock radio host, Emmy Award-winning TV personality and newspaper columnist.  In addition, Corcoran’s previous radio experience includes stops in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Buffalo.

“After being on-air in the Midwest for so long, it’s exciting to now have the opportunity to connect with people in an entirely new region,” said Corcoran.

JC’s has passion for classic rock is clear on first listen to his show.  His favorite artists include Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Heart.

JC is known for a sharp interviewing style that has been on display in interviews with numerous classic rock stars and celebrities including Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Murray, Dustin Hoffman, John Travolta, Julia Roberts, Michael J. Fox, Demi Moore, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Bill Maher, George Carlin, Dana Carvey, Nicole Kidman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kim Basinger, George Clooney, John Goodman, Jimmy Stewart, Madonna, Dan Rather, Keith Olberman, Andy Rooney, Mickey Mantle, Albert Pujols, Marshall Faulk, Tim Russert, Terry Bradshaw and Bob Costas.

“We’re excited to have JC on our team," said Marc Sherman, Houston vice president of programming for Clear Channel Media + Entertainment.  “He’ll bring a fun, new approach to The Arrow that our audience will definitely enjoy.”

On any typical morning, you'll hear JC’s uncanny ability to always be talking about what’s on the minds of Houston listeners.  In addition, he makes it a point to give back to his community, helping to raise money for various charities including the March of Dimes and Salvation Army.

JC lives in the Houston area with his wife, Clarissa, their daughter, Francesca, two cats, Victor and Louie, four satellite DVRs and a garage full of radio and TV-related junk he promises he's going to organize someday.  Young girls have been seen entering and exiting JC's house at all hours, most notably his two daughters, Addison, 20, and Whitney, 18.

Corcoran still actively plays baseball and pitches in the Men’s Senior Baseball League, still “bringing the heat” with a 75+ mph fastball.
